For those who are intending to marry an Australian citizen or permanent resident in Australia.

Interdependency

For applicants who are in same sex relationships.

Child / Adoption / Orphan Relative

For dependent children, orphan relatives or adopted children of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.

Parent

Parents may be able to migrate to Australia if they have a child in Australia who is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.

Aged Dependent Relative

A permanent visa for aged persons why rely on a relative in Australia for all, or most of their living costs.

Remaining Relative

If you are the last family member remaining overseas, this visa allows you to join your family in Australia.

Carer

For people needing to care for an Australan relative or a member of their family unit, who has a medical condition.

There are no skills assessments needed for these visa categories. It depends entirely on your relationship with an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident.
